Upppdate! Going pretty fast, actually, when I was reading up on scale mail, I came across some people saying it took them four months to make a square roughly 12 in by 12 in (what I have in the picture is about 6 in long). Maybe they were experimenting? Or they don’t have patience. (Which, Bryan doesn’t. He sat down to try and help me start up his vest and got through about 6 scales before he was too frustrated to continue) and through trial and error only broke 3 of my fingernails before I figured out how to make the pliers work better for me. Going to give myself some extra time and estimate I’ll have it done by Sunday!
